Nigeria president, Goodluck Jonathan, has reportedly telephoned former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, to deny responsibility for promoting a controversial member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Buruji Kashamu, as an influential party leader in the south-west geo-political zone, a situation that has infuriated the former president.

Those familiar with the matter said that Obasanjo was travelling in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, at the time of the conversation.

BREAKING :: Man caught after raping neighbour’s pregnant wife, offers her N500 ( READ )

A 30-year-old man identified as Adeji, is being detained in a cell at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Oyo State Police Command, Iyanganku, for allegedly raping his neighbour’s pregnant wife.

The victim, a 23-year-old mother of 2, identified as Mary, who is also about 3 months pregnant.

The suspect waylaid the pregnant woman when she was returning from the stream in Sanusi village, at Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan,where they are both neighbours.

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, popular in the Yoruba section of the store, founded the Pinkies Lady Foundation in early 2011 – with the stated aim of bringing women together and engaging in charity work. Then ‘enemies’ said the foundation was majorly populated by lesbians. Some people would think it best to ignore the triviality – but not Ms Ojo. She spilled to the Sunday Express:

“My foundation is not about that. Do I look like a lesbian? I am not a lesbian. Nigerians like attaching irrelevant things to something. They are saying that because I am an actress and because of the name Sexy Pinkies ladies. But it hasn’t stopped me fromachieving my goals. 80% of the women in the group are married with kids. I am not one who supports lesbianism. I don’t have a problem with those who practice it, it’s their choice but I do not believe in it because I dont think its normal. Its not biblical. I am not condemning the practitioners but to me its not normal.”

Gay man burned alive by anti-homosexual mob in Uganda (Viewer Discretion)

Uganda Anti Homosexuality bill. Death opposed but life imprisonment just fine.

It seems the ongoing struggle to bring awareness to the plight of same sex persons in the African region is increasingly being fraught with increased disarray.

Point in case the latest photo to make social media rounds, this time first appearing on imgur of that of what the posting individual has termed gay person burned alive by anti gay mob in Uganda.

The harrowing image involves that of an individual, one assumes a gay person who has literally been burned alive. How or why the circumstances have come to be are not known.

Maheeda REVEALS Why She Posts N*de Pictures On Social Media (READ)

Controversial Nigerian gospel singer, who is well known for her x-rated photographs, Caroline Sam, popularly known as Maheeda, has revealed why she returned to her old lifestyle.

The Edo State born singer, who was once a prostitute and made an open confession that she has repented and found Christ, said the reason she posted sensuous pictures of herself on her twitter and instagram accounts lately was because she wanted to show the world how sexy she is.

Maheeda, a self-confessed born-again Christian, was a special guest on a programme monitored on Galaxy Television, Lagos, Thursday morning. She said she was a born again Christian at a time but later backslid in her calling.

She said despite the fact that she is still spiritually inclined, she does not regret posting her semi-n*de pictures on the social-media.

Top actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde enjoys donating towards the improvement of lives of less privileged people in our society. Little wonder she founded one of the strongest foundations in showbiz industry called, OYEP Foundation and preaches the spirit of 'Give and let give'.

As you are reading this, the mother of four children is campaigning to raise funds for Zion Motherless and Widows Home. She is calling on all generous Nigerians to contribute financially to help the downtrodden people living in this home.

She revealed this few minutes ago when she stated: "I'm trying to raise funds for them. Its called, Zion Motherless and Widows Home. I'm hoping someone will inspire me... Kick this ball rolling. Waiting for the first donation will match it. Give and let give. It will all be announced."

TRAGEDY: Groom killed few hours after wedding in Indiana ( READ )

A newly married man of only a few hours in Indiana was struck and killed by several vehicles along with the driver of a car whose vehicle had fallen into a ditch when he stopped to give aid to the stranded motorist.

According to reports, the brave victim, 49-year-old William Knight, was driving back with his new wife, Nikki after their wedding reception when he noticed another vehicle stuck in a ditch.

Akpako Master, Terry G, handled an embarrassing moment on stage like the professional entertainer he is, as he performed yesterday, at the STAR beer village for the 2nd Lagos Countdown.

The Senior Pastor of Household of God Church, Oregun, Lagos, Chris Okotie has described Prophet TB Joshua as a son of the Devil. Okotie said this on Sunday at his church while addressing his congregation.

He also disclosed that followers of the founder of Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) in Ikotun, Lagos, will all land straight in hell.

Okotie said because TB Joshua his of the Devil, he is leading his congregation to his master.

The pastor cum politician also took a swipe at the Catholic church. He also called the Pope as a friend of Satan. Okotie said all Catholics will go to hell because they worship the Devil. Okotie and Joshua are both Nigeria's controversial pastors.

Julius Agwu's N100m Lawsuit Against Etisalat...Telecoms Replies Comedian ( READ )

Etisalat Nigeria has reacted to Julius Agwu’s seven-day ultimatum that it should compensate him with the sum of N100 million or risk legal action over “alleged unlawful and unjustified blocking and/or swapping” of his Etisalat GSM phone number 08189555555.

Julius Agwu had demanded compensation through his lawyer, Festus Keyamo, on November 26, 2013 where he pointed out the loss of business opportunities and the inconvenience experienced by him during the period in an ultimatum letter to Etisalat Nigeria.

[ BREAKING NEWS ]: Armed men attack MFM church in Enugu, burn altar ( READ )

The Enugu branch of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles ministries (MFM) was attacked by unidentified gunmen during the weekend.

Two security men on duty at the regional headquarters of the church were said to have barely escaped with their lives. The hoodlums reportedly asked the guards to turn off their phones and then they proceeded to vandalize the church.

Nigerian Eye reports:

Observation from our correspondent showed that they pulled down the entire concrete fence of the church and burnt part of the altar. It was gathered that the attack on the church lasted for several hours, from midnight on Saturday to the wee hours
of Sunday.

Meet the woman who hid her boyfriend’s N850,000 gold necklace in her private part (PICTURED)

26-year-old Tessy Emorvon was said to have stripped in the presence of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives and produced a necklace which she was said to have stolen.

The necklace was reported missing by Tessy’s ‘boyfriend’ Cosmos and was said to be worth N850,000.

She was re-arrested by detectives at SARS, Ikeja when the owner of the gold necklace, Cosmos alerted them that she had been granted bail.

Trouble started when Cosmos, her boyfriend, realized that the gold necklace that he wore while having sex with her was missing. He raised the alarm and the occupants of the hotel, including Tessy, were arrested. They were all searched and the gold chain was not found. Not satisfied with their claim that they were not aware of where the gold chain was kept, Cosmos quickly alerted the police at Area F, Ikeja.

[ TRAGEDY ] :: Innocent dad Christopher Foster stabbed to death in 'case of mistaken identity' as he smoked ( READ )

According to a report by Mirror, a father minding his own business was stabbed to death by a gang of hooded thugs in what police are calling a case of mistaken identity.

Christopher Foster – who was “devoted” to his four-year-old daughter – was set upon by seven yobs as he smoked with a friend outside a pub.

It is believed Mr Foster, 34, was mistaken for the intended targeted when he was surrounded and then stabbed once at around 11.45pm on Friday.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested today on suspicion of assisting in the attack and is being quizzed by detectives. Shocked witnesses saw the mob with baseball bats and a knife fleeing from an alleyway near St Christopher’s Inn in Borough High Street, South London.
