Wale Adenuga Unveils New Record Label
Seasoned entertainment entrepreneur, Wale Adenuga, is at it again. After straddling the worlds of comic publications, film production and training, the publisher of old Ikebe Super has unveiled a record label. The entertainment mogul, who also recently inaugurated wapTV channel, is respected for the business astute he takes into his programmes, which has made success of them. Now going into music, pundits can only wait to see if he will be able to shake the scene.
“After making impact in other fields, we are convinced that this is indeed the time to make our mark on the Nigerian
music industry,” he says. “We are starting with the WAP Music Artiste Search,which is a hunt for gifted males and
females of all ages who only need a chance to showcase their singing or rapping
talents in any genre of music and the winners will get signed to WAP Music with a juicy contract.”
The producer of Papa Ajasco, Superstory, The Perfect Church and other popular programmes adds that the finale of
the search for artistes will hold on August 10 2013, at D’Pencils,in Ajao Estate, Lagos.
